Overview

The Independent Assessment Service (IAS) is an independent assessment provider assessing Personal Independent Payments (PIP) cases on behalf of the Department of Work and Pension (DWP)

Our team of trained Health Professional include Registered Nurses (General and Mental Health specialist), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist & Paramedics.

About the role

Working as a Disability Analyst is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a communication and patient focused environment. You will be working in various settings working from Home, within the community, one of our assessment centres or a combination of both. Your job will ensure assessments are completed on clients who are in the process of claiming PIP payments. You will complete a detailed report which will be sent back to the Department of Work and Pension (DWP) for a final decision.

You do not need to worry about preparing for the job. The Independent Assessment Service (IAS) will give you all the training, skills, and support that you need to thrive in your role as a Disability Analyst.

Requirements

  • Full registration with the relevant professional body (NMC/HCPC/GMC).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience.
  • Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, empathetic, and professional manner.
  • Strong computer and IT skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
